Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and game-drive

Have an early transfer (for a 4 1/2hr drive) to Lake Mburo National Park, the ‘Zebra magnet’. Stop over and take photo poses at the equator and continue driving through Masaka. When entering the park enjoy a landscape of vast savannah dotted with acacia and shrubs. Head for the lodge for check in and lunch.

In the late afternoon go for a game-drive for view of zebras, Topis, warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas.

Day 2: Transfer to Kampala

Get early up for a 3 Days Explore Zebra Paradise Safari walk to visit the hyena’s den, chance to see Leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in their day break jungle life! This has often been a good chance of seeing, an antelope rarely seen living in the papyrus swamps. After your early morning activities, return to the lodge for checking out before embarking on your return journey to Kampala.

Day 3: Mabamba Shoebill Stock Viewing

Early morning Drive to Mabamba Swamp, 50 km west of Kampala. Look out for many different birds on our way to the swamp, like the Papyrus Gonolek, White winged Warbler, Northern Brown throated Weaver and Weyns Weaver. Mabamba Swamp is one of the best places to spot the rare Shoebill Stork. But also, many other species can be found here, like the Allen’s Gallinule, Purple Gallinule (swamp hen), Grey herons, African Water Rail, Squacco, Goliath, Purple and a variety of egrets and ducks. The best way to enjoy the rich birdlife is by canoe and you might even have the luck to encounter, adapted to swampy habitats. Later transfer to Entebbe International Airport for our flight.
