Day 1 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Arrival at Entebbe Airport and Transfer to your hotel

At Entebbe airport you will be welcomed by our driver and taken to the Hotel. From Entebbe airport to your hotel is about 10 minutes.

If you arrive at night the traffic off course will be less. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the staff at the Hotel.

Day 2 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Equator line and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park


You will enjoy a Ugandan breakfast for the first time, tasting the delicious fruits. After breakfast it is time to start your Adventure. You will first drive to the Equator line and have lunch or a snack. The journey continues to Lake Mburo National park, where you will arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a first game drive.

Day 3-4 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: From one lake to the other: Lake Bunyonyi

Good morning! The day starts with a guided on-foot safari, this will take 2 to 3 hours. During the walk you will get to see the Zebra’s and other animals from very near.

After lunch you will head straight to Lake Bunyonyi. The journey will take you south, and the closer you get to the Lake will make you understand why this area is called the African Alps. At Lake Bunyonyi you will have time to relax and prepare for the Gorilla tracking.

Day 5 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Transfer to Kisoro

Via the shores of Lake Bunyonyi you will drive to Kisoro. After checking in at the hotel – famous for one of her guests: Dian Fossey – you will enjoy a village walk. Near Kisoro there are several traditional Batwa – the original inhabitants of this area- Communities which you can visit.

Day 6 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour:  Golden monkey tracking and transfer to Bwindi


After an early breakfast you will drive to the briefing point at Mgahinga National Park. Here you will be briefed by the rangers and you will start the Golden Monkey tracking. Mgahinga National Park is a mountainous area, so hiking shoes and walking stick are advised! After this adventure you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest to prepare for your next adventure.

Day 7 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Wake early for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla trekking. Before 8:00am, report to the ranger station for registration and a talk by one of the rangers.

The guides will then take you through the bush, pushing your way through the undergrowth, to track the gorillas. (Please note this trek can take from 30 minutes to 5-6 hours). A reasonable degree of fitness is required, as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes. Sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them ‘talk’ to one another, and marvel at the sheer size the dominant male, the Silverback.

It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rain forest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas. It’s amazing to think there are only about 950 of these beautiful creatures left.

Day 8 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: To Queen Elizabeth National Park including tree-climbing lions of Ishasha


Today you will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It will be a 4 to 5-hour drive meandering through the mountains towards the plains of Queen Elizabeth national Park. On your way there will be a game drive through the southern part of Queen Elizabeth: Ishasha. This part of the park is famous for its tree-climbing lions.

Day 9 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Game drive and boat ride on Kazinga Channel

The day will start with an early game drive to try and find the animals of the night. There are a few prides of lions in the park, the best chance to see them is early in the morning around 2 PM you will start the boat ride on Kazinga Channel. After the 3-hour boat ride you will go to the Bush Lodge and have dinner.

Day 10 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Transfer to Kibale National Park and Bigodi Swamp


After a morning game drive, we will continue to Kibale Forest National park. A huge rain forest with an abundance of wildlife. The main reason why people come here is to meet our closes relative: The Chimpanzee! But as you will soon find out, Kibale has so much more to offer! After checking in and having enjoyed lunch you will go to Bigodi Swamp for a guided tour.

Day 11 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Chimp tracking and top of the world

Today is time for tracking the Chimpanzees in Kibale Forest national park. It will take several ours and it all depends on the number of Chimps and the weather. After the tracking you will go for a hike to the highest point, overlooking the crater lakes of Kibale national park.

Day 12 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: To Murchison Falls National Park

This day will be a day of travel from Kibale to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey will take about 5 to 7 hours depending on the road conditions. You will enjoy the scenery on the way. In the late afternoon you will arrive at Fort Murchison Lodge where you can check in and relax and maybe go for a swim before dinner.

Day 13 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Game drive, boat ride and hike to top of the falls


The day will start early and you can take your packed breakfast in the vehicle. It is time to spot the animals! Murchison falls has the largest number of Rothschild Giraffe among many other large mammals. In the delta you will probably find many to them, and hopefully some of the predators i.e. the lion and leopard.

The game drive will end around 11 AM. The afternoon will be spending on the water during a boat cruise to the foot of the falls. At the foot of the falls you can leave the boat and hike to the top or return to the dock. You will be picked by the guide and drive back to the lodge.

Day 14 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Travel to Kidepo

Today will be a travel day. Leaving Murchison Falls behind you and going all the way North to the most remote and most beautiful National Park in Uganda: Kidepo Valley National park. After leaving Murchison Falls you will drive via Gulu and Kit gum, where you will stop for lunch. You will arrive at Kidepo Savannah lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 15 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Safari walk and Game drive in Kidepo Valley


Since Kidepo wakes up almost an hour earlier than the rest of Uganda we will as well wake up at 06.00 AM today. After a cup of coffee or tea we will drive in about 5 minutes to the starting point of the guided safari walk. There you will be able to see all types of Wildlife. As a bonus you can enjoy the exceptional scenery. Lunch will be enjoyed at the lodge or you can choose to go with packed lunch and have a picknick in the park, where after you will go for another game drive in the park.

Day 16 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Transfer to Moroto via Nakapelemoru – cultural village

Kotido is the home of the Jie, one of the most traditional living Karamojong tribes. During the time of cattle raids they were known for their courage and fearless battles. Many of them live in the largest Manyatta (village) of East Africa: Nakapelemoru. A collection of hundreds of homestays. Today you will pay a visit to this village and meet some of the people, this activity is one of the incomes generating projects in Karamoja and the communities benefit from your visit. After lunch you will drive to Moroto.

Day 17 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Travel to Mount Elgon and Sipi Falls


Full day of travel from Moroto to Sipi falls. You will arrive in the late afternoon. The day will pass through a large part of Karamoja on dusty roads and crossing Pian Upe wildlife reserve. After this long journey you will arrive at home of friends where you will enjoy dinner.

Day 18 of 19 Days Uganda Cultural Safari Tour: Hike to the falls and Coffee tour

After a good night rest, you will hike to the top of the Sipi Falls. Climbing up you will enjoy the scenery and maybe have a dive in the natural pool. After lunch there will be a visit planned to one of the coffee farmers. Coffee from Mount Elgon is one of the most appreciated in the world.

Depending on your return flight our guide will drop you at the airport 2 hours before departure.
